We acquired the Tandem portfolio, comprising six EDEKA stores in North Rhine-Westphalia, in spring 2020. As part of this transaction, an EDEKA store in Aktienstrasse, Essen, that is in the planning/construction phase was added to the “Redos Einzelhandel Deutschland II” fund. The transfer of risks and rewards of ownership took place after the property was completed in the second quarter of 2020. The location is also home to the discount food retailer ALDI and BURGER KING. The total rental space is around 7,900 sqm. Customers can make use of around 240 free parking spaces while they shop. The property has a high fit-out standard and benefits from an optimal location in Essen with a sustainable catchment area.
